Here's a large part of my life

Here's a large part of my life

I’m not very good when it comes to talking about feelings… actually, I just don’t. This illustration attempts to express my situation, in the centre there are two hearts with the names Ian and Lia (my girlfriend)

- the hearts are actually one for unity, dripping blood illustrating hard times, and the “roots” coming out of it and tangled illustrating havoc/confusion … but all in all the hearts are united. I think that anyone who would draw their relationship without any complications has a lot of underlying problems.

- the clutter around the hearts symbolizes pressure, ideally the arrows should direct away from the hearts not at them (using society as a tool, not a hurdle) but that is very hard to accomplish.

- I’ve got a wip to protect. i drew a wip because it’s not a defense weapon and can only scare the pressures temporary, it cannot kill them. I am admittedly not that stable in life, on occasion I shamefully sway the wip so carelessly that i hit both hearts in the process, that explains small bandage

- the red arrow on the left are my two dogs, both found on the street as puppies. I found Eli 2 weeks ago as we was about to get hit by a car in a busy round about, she was about to die ( many ticks, fleas, tape worm, hip injury and scars ) and is now fully recovered except forĀ  her hip. It’s been hard training her with work and everything else going on, the dogs are listed a pressure because of the attention they needed lately.. at least Nia somehow accepted Eli

- Right side is dedicated to our 3 week trip to Morocco and Portugal next Tuesday! rock on

- The colour is for compassion and energy

The ideal would be to have one heart and both names, but then I’ll be kidding you.
